My name is Teena Hughes and I've lived in Paris several times over the years, and loved my life in the City of Love and Light!

I'm currently living in Australia, and visit Paris every year or two to catch up with friends and fall in love with this amazing city all over again.

I love to write, and I especially love to receive mail – letters from around the world with gorgeous stamps – but since COVID, many people stopped writing cards and letters - and going to the Post Office, so I don't receive mail from friends overseas any more because we have different ways to communicate now ...

Yes, I'm a techie girl, and we keep in touch with emails and Zoom chats, so it's a different way to stay in touch - more "instant" ... but not the same as seeing the handwriting and a gorgeous postage stamp :-)

So what happens here?

Every now and then I’ll update you with upcoming things in Paris which I find interesting, or quirky or fun. Perhaps I might start this new version of the Postcards from Paris in one or more of these ways:

1. an actual letter written by me describing something in Paris which I love and remember from when I lived there
2. or something like 5 quick tips about Parisian events, cafes, restaurants, things to do ...

Either way, the news won't be regular, only when I have something to share :-)

I'll also update when I have new Paris Designs to share (I'm an artist and love to create gorgeous designs for my Paris projects). I've recently created my new Paris Coasters, Paris Calendars, coffee mugs, travel bags and backpacks, Journals and Notebooks.

Plus I'm currently designing a scarf with a Paris theme which I can wear with a dash of panache :-) Would you like to know about any of these? If you said, "Yes!", that's great!
